Booking terms

Booking and payment

You book directly on the website, with no platform and no service fees. When you book, you pay a deposit of 30% of the accommodation price: your stay is then confirmed, and you immediately receive a confirmation email followed by your invoice.

The balance is charged automatically to the same card 30 days before arrival, and you receive the corresponding invoice. For bookings made less than 30 days before arrival, the stay is paid in full at once.

Payments are processed by Stripe and paid directly to the owners. Your card details are never stored by the website.

Business travellers

If you book for your company or organisation, invoices are issued in its name, with its identification number (SIREN, RNA or foreign number).

Security deposit

A security deposit is requested as a card authorisation, 2 days before arrival, on the card used for the booking: €1,000 for Villa Phéron, €1,500 for Villa Jasmin, €2,000 for both villas booked together. It is not charged. For stays longer than a week, the authorisation is renewed automatically. It is released 5 days after departure. In case of damage, all or part of the deposit may be charged, after discussing it with you; you are notified by e-mail, with the reason.

Cancellation by the guest

You can cancel at any time from the personal link sent to you by email:

• up to 30 days before arrival, amounts paid are refunded in full;
• from 29 to 15 days before arrival, 50% of amounts paid are refunded;
• from 14 to 8 days before arrival, 25% of amounts paid are refunded;
• less than 8 days before arrival, no refund is due.

Refunds are made to the card used, within 5 to 10 days depending on your bank.

Cancellation by the owners

Should Stéfanie and Ludovic have to cancel your stay, all payments would be refunded to you in full.

A quiet house

The villas welcome guests looking for peace and quiet. Parties and gatherings are not allowed. A short note introducing your stay is appreciated, but not required.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in from 4 pm, check-out by 10 am. The exact address and arrival details are sent to you before the stay.

Tourist tax

The tourist tax of the municipality of Baie-Mahault is added to the price of the stay. For unclassified furnished accommodation, it is 5% of the nightly price per person, due for each adult (minors are exempt), up to the ceiling set by the municipality. It is calculated and shown before payment, and paid with the balance.
